Allworx Announces Interoperability of VXI VoIP Phone and Headset Solutions for the SMB Market

The small business phone and network solutions company, Allworx (News - Alert), has announced the interoperability of VXI’s VoIP headset offerings with Allworx’ IP phones and VoIP communications systems.

This product interoperability is expected to make it easier for Channel Partners to address the communications needs of small and medium size businesses.

Allworx previously has tested and certified that a number of VXI headsets—including the Passport V-series, monaural (10V-DC), binaural (20V-DC) and over-the-ear (37V-DC) models styles--work in an optimal fashion with Allworx’ family of SIP phones and IP PBX (News - Alert) servers.

Also, according to Allworx’s officials, along with confirming product interoperability, the company has made it “easy for channel partners to order VXI headsets and bundle them into solutions for small and medium-sized businesses because Allworx and VXI work with common distributors.”

“VXI is the headset company that we recommend for our phones because of the quality of its products, and because of the seamless interoperability with our offerings,” said George Daddis (News - Alert), president at Allworx.

He also indicated in a press release that his company is making it easy for channel partners to incorporate VXI’s headsets with Allworx’s phone systems, and added, “We think our SMB customers will appreciate the convenience and flexibility they provide.”

“Allworx is one of the fastest growing companies serving the SMB market, and its phone systems continue to garner awards and industry-wide recognition, so we’re thrilled to work together to offer our headsets in conjunction with its offering of phone systems,” commented Lisa Keslar, marketing director at VXI Corporation.

Allworx’ portfolio of SMB products includes the 24x, 10x, and 6x VoIP communications system, and also Allworx 9112, 9102 and latest 9200 IP phone series. In January, Allworx, announced the new Allworx 9200 phone series, which consists of 9212, and 9202 IP-phones.

Additionally, Allworx also provides software options that add: Call Assistant; Call Queuing; Conference Center; and Dual language packs with English and Spanish voice prompts.

Designer and developer of communications headsets, VXI offers its solutions for the home, the road, or office environments where telephone use is customary.
