Envox Worldwide, a provider of IP-based voice solutions has introduced Envox CT ADE (News - Alert) (Computer Telephony Application Development Environment) 10, a major upgrade to the most widely used interactive voice response (IVR ) development tool in the industry.
Envox (News - Alert) CT ADE is a rapid application development (RAD) toolkit developed with the aim to enhance voice and video communication solutions. The toolkit offers total access to Dialogic (News - Alert) telephony hardware and software interfaces and control of speech products.
Key enhancements in Envox CT ADE 10 include the ability to create leading-edge IP communications solutions, including video messaging, SMS, and conferencing solutions, and compatibility with service oriented architectures through support for the VoiceXML (News - Alert), MRCP, and SIP standards.
In addition, Envox CT ADE is tightly integrated with the latest automated speech recognition (ASR) and text-to-speech (TTS) engines from Nuance (News - Alert) Communications, a leading provider of speech solutions for businesses and consumers around the world.

Some of the upgraded features of Envox CT ADE 10 include; VoiceXML browser that supports the features of both VoiceXML 2.0 and 2.1 specifications, support for Media Resource Control Protocol (MRCP) 2.0 for automated speech recognition (ASR) and text-to-speech (TTS), Video messaging solutions with Dialogic's Host Media Processing (HMP) 3.0 software, High-density conferencing, Expanded support for speech technologies including the Nuance 9 speech recognition engine and the RealSpeak 4.5text-to-speech engine, enhanced SIP capabilities and support for Secure Real Time Protocol (SRTP) and SIP Transport Layer Security (TLS) and SS7 support to enable SMS communication through GSM.
