Timberland Investment Resources announced the selection of C4 IP

from Cypress Communications (
News -
Alert) as their hosted VoIP solution.
C4 IP will help the employees of the investment company to maintain constant communication. Timberland has four satellite offices and several field employees with critical communication needs.
When an emergency situation occurred in the field, the employees would require quick, yet flexible, communications. The employees also required a solution that could evolve and adapt to their changing business needs due to TIR’s continual, rapid growth.
Molly Darnell, director of business operations at Timberland Investment Resources points out that their business needed a solution that would eliminate their communication run around time.
A large number of their employees travel extensively between their offices and the field, and TIR have had to call as many as three phone numbers before they could locate them. This entire process slowed their business immensely.
“With C4 IP from Cypress, we will have visibility into who is at their desk or on the phone in real-time. Also, with the ability to forward calls based on different scenarios we can program different call routing

sequences for office hours, after hours and holidays,” said Darnell in a
statement to the press.
Now, when traveling, their team members can simply forward their calls to cell phones or voicemail, eliminating the need for their receptionist to spend countless hours tracking them down.
“This will be a real timesaver,” said Darnell.
C4 IP, an enterprise-class, hosted VoIP

solution, enables companies to remain flexible and communicate efficiently whether users are in the office or on the go.
“ C4 IP minimizes total cost of ownership

by allowing companies to utilize the most cutting-edge communication and collaboration tools available today without the capital outlay and overhead associated with implementing Voice over IP technology,” said Frank Grillo, executive vice president of enterprise services, Cypress Communications.
He continued: “We understand that the way your company looks today doesn’t necessarily mirror what your company will look like in a year. That is why we offer a hosted solution that can be easily tailored to your unique, ever-changing business.”
