Alert) (GIPS) has unveiled its Click-to-Talk web-based VoIP solution, Click-to-Talk Lite.
By deploying the solution, a company can put the Click-to-Talk icon on its website. When this icon is clicked, visitors can instantly talk to the customer service agent of the company.
"GIPS Click-to-Talk Lite provides the same client software as the comprehensive Click-to-Talk version," said John Hermansen, Global IP Solutions Marketing Director in a statement. "It will allow web and application developers to implement and test-drive a high-quality web-based VoIP

application. GIPS Click-to-Talk has transformed many organization's websites into interaction centers, combining both self-service and assisted-service to enable true customer support and effective contact center utilization. There are tremendous cost savings, improved productivity and significantly increased customer convenience and satisfaction to be gained with GIPS Click-to-Talk."
A definite improvement over the less-than-perfect call-back and web-chat options, GIPS Click-to-Talk is a direct and sure-shot connection between websites and contact centers through the Internet. The option can be used for connecting customers to various resources including a contact center agent, an after hours support line or a remote agent.
The new solution by GIPS allows companies to better serve their customers and hence boosts their bottom line by enhancing customer loyalty. It also offers greater opportunity for up-selling during customer interactions and provides a competitive advantage to enterprises.
Perfectly integrating with CRM tools and collaborative applications, the solution improves efficiency and reduces costs.
